A Little More About “Us”
Jamie Mahon
Jamie is an Alexandria, VA–born cinematographer and producer based between NYC and DC. He co-founded After Now Films to bring a sharper, more intentional approach to branded content and narrative storytelling. His work spans documentaries, music videos, and commercial projects, with a focus on strong visual craft and thoughtful collaboration.
Jamie has built a reputation for blending technical mastery with a grounded, creative touch—whether he’s shaping light, designing camera movement, or guiding a project from first call to final delivery. He’s worked on award-winning pieces, long-term documentaries, and campaigns for clients across a range of industries.
Outside of set, Jamie’s often scouting new visual ideas, studying lighting, or exploring DC and New York.
Nick Lewis
Nick is a director and producer based in Richmond, VA, known for blending sharp visual storytelling with a deep love of culture—especially hip-hop, fashion, and the energy that comes with both. Originally from Woodstock, VA, he studied Film and Video at George Mason University before building a career across freelance work, production companies, and in-house creative teams.
His directing style is defined by clear narrative instinct, strong aesthetic sensibilities, and an ability to pull authentic performances out of real people and actors alike. Nick thrives at the intersection of concept and execution, shaping ideas into work that feels contemporary, emotional, and intentional.
Whether he’s leading a branded campaign, developing a music-driven piece, or guiding a story from treatment to final cut, Nick brings focus, taste, and a collaborative energy that elevates every project.
